Gracie, the world's first Italian greyhound service dog helping a woman with cryoglobulinemia. Gracie became homeless, needing surgery in Colorado when she was a puppy. Diane rescued and nurtured her back to life. Now they go where no woman and dog have gone before.

​Dr. Diane Dike, award-winning author, speaker, singer and humanitarian, with a heart full of compassion to help others and make their dreams come true.
​
After rescuing Gracie, an injured and homeless Italian greyhound, Diane trained her to become her service dog. Gracie helps her overcome and more safely live with cryoglobulinemia vasculitis​, a life-threatening blood disease that almost took her life and limbs. Through many outreaches, books, speaking engagements, shipping/delivering of Love Kits, Second Chance Radio, TV and a Foster/Adoption home, Diane and dedicated volunteers transform lives and make the world a better place.
In 2007, after decades of volunteer service Diane established Second Chance with Saving Grace, Inc.(SCwSG), a nonprofit charitable organization, providing worthy projects for volunteers to share their gifts and talents to help disadvantaged children, animals and chronically ill people.
Soon after, she developed the Cryoglobulinemia Vasculitis Organization (CVO). Cryoglobulinemia is a rare blood disease Diane has fought for 25+ years. CVO is the first organization of its kind in the world earning global recognition as a resource for patients, caretakers, medical professionals, and researchers.
